The cases that make us who we are.
People do not choose a veterinarian from a list of services. They choose one because of what happened to someone else’s pet. These are ours.

Willie came in with one eye she was going to lose.
Her full name is Wilhelmina, but everyone calls her Willie. Someone found her as a stray. One eye was badly infected, painful, and past saving. The kind thing, and the thing that gave her a normal life, was to remove it.
So we did. She recovered, and she never looked back. A one eyed cat does not think of herself as a cat missing an eye. She just gets on with it.
Willie is the reason this page exists. Complex surgery on a stray that somebody cared enough to bring in is not the profitable end of veterinary medicine. It is just the part we would not want to be a practice without.

He saw four surgeons before he found us.
“Great, went to four surgeons before finding Dr. Torok and staff. We were going to drive three hours and have it done out of state and thankfully found her shortly before having the surgery done. They are ALL very knowledgeable, caring and thorough. They get right down on the floor with the animals and examine them to help ease their nervousness, I assume that is part of the no-fear. Cost is great, knee surgery was great, fully recovered now and I would highly recommend them.”
That is the experience we built the surgical side of this clinic to fix: a straight answer, an itemized quote, and a GP surgeon who does the operation often, without sending you across three counties for it.
And the ones our clients tell
Three more, in their own words. We publish what people actually wrote, never a rewritten quote or an invented case.
OrthopedicsI have been very happy with Dr. Jessica. Over the past couple years, she has repaired both ACLs on my large breed dog's knees. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Dr. Jess and her team are friendly, knowledgeable, and my dog is happy to see them.
ExoticsWe had the BEST experience! I mentioned that my daughter, Ella, who is nine wanted to be a vet when she grew up and the doctor took her time to have Ella be her assistant. Dr. Torok taught Ella about her bunny, let Ella do part of the exam and Ella was so excited.
Senior careMy senior dog is a new patient and I am so impressed with my first visit! Dr Torok spent so much time with us, thoroughly addressing all of my concerns and developing a health plan for us. I am feeling confident entering my pup's golden years under Dr Torok's care!
Every one of these started with one appointment.
