Dr. Jaclyn Rumpf received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2010 and her B.S. in Animal Science from University of Illinois in 2006. She grew up in Pittsburgh and since graduation has practiced in the Chicagoland and surrounding areas. Dr. Rumpf cultivates a specialized interest in Internal Medicine especially chronic kidney diseases and endocrinopathies. Also, she has received extensive training in abdominal ultrasonography and 30 hours of extended continuing education in Senior and Palliative Care and has performed surgical procedures on a variety of reptilian species.
Dr. Rumpf is currently renewing her Fear Free Certification and Low-Stress Handling Certification - Silver Level Certification.
In her spare time, Dr. Rumpf enjoys Reading, knitting, and scrapbooking She shares her life with her 14 year old female spayed Italian Greyhound, Maris and 21 year old male Three-Toed Box Turtle, Pierogi.
She joined the Urban Vet Associates team in September 2023 and is excited to be able to bring over 20 years of veterinary experience to collaborate with Dr. Torok and Dr. Mullen.
